3D laser scanning of buildings, churches, castles has an advantage over the conventional measurement techniques that the laser scanner is capable of focusing complex object, which means that the scanner is able to do roughly 900,000 measurements per second. The density of acquired data and speed of collection guarantee that the processed data will be exact representation of reality. Then it depends on customer if he needs 2D CAD technical documentation in the form of sections, views, floor plans, 3D model in the form of CAD, BIM or MESH. Another advantage is that all objects are always focused in a given space. This means that it is not necessary to travel back to the object and perform additional measurements.
